Before the procedure, the doctor numbs the region and then starts with a low setting on the laser. If the mole is trivial, the treatment takes very little time. Obviously, bigger regions take more time and often more laser mole removal treatments. There is a sensation from the laser, which differs from a minor pulsation to a snap, much like one that comes when you snap a rubber band onto your skin. Contingent on the location and your sensitivity in that region, it can be anywhere from scarcely evident to very much painful.

After-care and Risks:
While the area treated with the laser heals, it is best to sidestep the sun. The region might become faintly red or darker during the healing stage and ultimately forms a scab. The scab lasts as long as two weeks but keep out of the sun or use a good sunscreen on the region for as much as two months after the process. This treatment has some danger but equated to most surgeries, they are limited. There is always a likelihood of infection, predominantly if you expose the region to potential impurities. Most laser processes use a local anesthetic so that it decreases the risk more than those techniques that entail general anesthetic.
